Rapid Assays for Dioxins
A joint project with the European Commission on Rapid Assays for Dioxins and Related Compounds in September 2001 was initiated to further develop of rapid assay methods for the screening of dioxins and related compounds in feed, food and environmental samples. A symposium was held 15-16 December 2003 at the WHO European Centre for Environment and Health, Rome, Italy, to review and finalize a draft report describing the current situation and to identify research needs for further development of rapid assays for dioxins and related compounds.
