Profiles of participating NGOs
The WHO Asian Civil Society Conference on Macroeconomics and Health was organized by the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and by the Marga Institute in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
KIT is an independent centre of knowledge and expertise in the areas of international and intercultural cooperation. The aims of KIT are to contribute to sustainable development, poverty alleviation, and cultural preservation and exchange.
Marga Institute is an independent non-profit organization. It aims to carry out and promote systematic studies relating to political, social and economic development in Sri Lanka.
