The in-country process for pursuing macroeconomics and health work is most robust when it engages an ever widening circle of key national and international stakeholders to review priorities and establish consensus on action, and to make concrete commitments for developing and implementing health investment plans. WHO coordinates efforts to disseminate the concepts of macroeconomics and health work and mobilize political leadership and commitment.
