Overview
This report examines the past, present and possible future roles of invitro drug sensitivity assays in malaria control and their possible contribution to monitoring drug resistance. The report also includes a critical examination of past errors and present weaknesses in order to improve the technical aspects of existing assays, with the ultimate goal of establishing a standardized protocol in the near future.
