This joint UNICEF-WHO statement on HIV and infant feeding summarizes the recommendations from a recent meeting on HIV and infant feeding counselling. It also takes the occasion of the meeting to reiterate both agencies' support to the UN recommendations on infant feeding for HIV-infected women and to the UN HIV and infant feeding framework for priority action.
