WHO policy brief for Global Fund proposal development on malaria in pregnancy
Overview
This document presents WHO proposals for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) developed in 2007. WHO proposes interventions to control malaria in pregnancy, like diagnosis and treatment, distribution of insect nets and preventive treatment. It proposes to implement these interventions through antenatal care services and lists items that should be included into the budget.
