Overview
This publication is the report of a meeting that took place in Stockholm on 21−22 June 2006. The meeting was organized by WHO’s Department of Making Pregnancy Safer (MPS) and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and was aimed at exploring better ways of coordinating partner’s efforts and support to member countries to implement evidence-based cost-effective interventions and accelerate progress in achieving the Millennium Development Goals 4, 5 and 6 related to maternal and newborn health and survival.
