Maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health policy indicators
The Department of Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (MCA), World Health Organization (WHO), Geneva conducts periodic global Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (MNCAH) Policy Indicators Surveys, to track progress in adoption of WHO recommendations in national health policies and guidelines related to maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health. Interest in the results of this policy survey has increased over time. Three rounds of survey have been completed (2009-10, 2010-11, 2013-14) and the fourth round (2016) survey is in progress since March 2016.
The most recent information are presented where countries that have responded more than once in the periodic surveys. Indicators in the database are updated for data for countries that have already responded 2016 survey as on 20.06.2016. This visualization will have more number of indicators at the end of the ongoing 2016 survey.
Data users may generate tables, global maps, dashboards and graphs for indicators of interest. These can be viewed online or downloaded.
