The Department of Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (MCA) works closely with partners at the international, regional and national levels to develop joint strategies and strategic approaches to research, develop, test, plan, monitor, evaluate and support interventions to improve maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health.
MCA partners traditionally include other WHO departments, United Nations agencies, bilateral agencies, non-government organizations (NGOs), private voluntary organizations (PVOs), foundations, lending agencies and government authorities.
