2008 International Stillbirth Conference
WHO and the International Stillbirth Alliance (ISA) are organizing a joint conference hosted by the Norwegian Society of Perinatal Medicine and co-hosted by the Norwegian SIDS and Stillbirth Society and the Perinatal Research Center, Rikshospitalet University Clinic. The Stillbirth Conference 2007 is taking place from 5 to 7 November 2008 in Oslo, Norway and will focus on the following main topics:
- Developing countries and social inequities – policies and programs for effective prevention of stillbirths
- The challenge of fetal growth restriction – the epidemiology, causes and management to prevent deaths
- Excellence of care: prevention and management – the best evidence for management of pregnancies and stillbirths
- Providing care for bereaved parents – professional, organizational, social and peer support
