MCA recognizes several key processes in the ongoing cycle of managing programmes to improve maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health at country level. They include strategy development, programme planning, costing of the programme plan, programme review, and programme evaluation.
MCA promotes improved monitoring of the quality of health service delivery as well the coverage of effective interventions for improving maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health.
Research promoted and supported by MCA aims to inform policy, guide norms and standards and improve delivery strategies, relevant to the needs of pregnant women, children and adolescents.
