WHO Cancer Advisory Committee to the Director-General

Cancer is responsible today for the deaths of nearly 7 million deaths each year. This number is expected to increase by 50% in the next 15 years. Cancer experts from more than 15 countries will meet in Geneva to assist in the development of of the WHO Cancer Control Strategy, as mandated by the World Health Assembly.
