On Tuesday 23 May, WHO’s Programme Budget Web Portal was presented in the interactive zone of the World Health Assembly.

Every year WHO creates a number of displays, showing the work being done across the organization. This display by the Polio Global Eradication Initiative featured an 'iron lung', a mechanical respirator, that enables a person to breath when normal muscle control has been lost due to polio.

During this year's World Health Assembly, WHO in collaboration with the UN Foundation is producing three live shows featuring public health experts. The theme of this show was on "10 years of public health progress – how it was done and lessons learned for the future".
