Trigger actions to initiate a standard development for the Expert Committee on Specifications for Pharmaceutical Preparations are given at different levels and bodies:
- World Health Assembly
- Executive Board Resolutions
- International Conference of Drug Regulatory Authorities (ICDRA)
- WHO programmes and clusters
- Expert Committee
