Prof. Deborah A. McFarland

Prof Deborah A. McFarland is a professor in the Hubert Department of Global Health and the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Rollins School of Public Health of Emory University.

Her specialty is international health care financing and health systems strengthening in low and middle income countries. She is a recipient of many awards including the Robert Wood Johnson Fellowship in health financing and the most distinguished teaching award from Emory University.

Dr McFarland is a former member of the APOC TCC, the Mectizan Expert Committee, the WHO TDR scientific advisory committee and currently serves on several health financing international and national committees.
