Mali
Mali has reported nine (9) new cases from four (4) villages.
Ethiopia
Ethiopia has reported eight (8) new cases from five (5) villages, with 2 alleged imported cases from South Sudan.
Chad
Chad has reported eight (8) cases in seven (7) villages.
South Sudan
South Sudan remains the hotbed for active transmission of dracunculiasis with 944 confirmed cases reported from 425 villages and 12 counties.
