Pre-SAC – pre-school age children aged => 1 and < 5 years
SAC – school age children aged => 5 and < 15years
Adults – individuals aged => 15 years.
Definitions:
Population requiring PC - total population living in all the endemic areas and which require preventive chemotherapy.
Geographical coverage - proportion (%) of endemic districts covered with preventive chemotherapy.
Programme coverage - proportion (%) of individuals who were treated as per programme target.
National disease-specific coverage - proportion (%) of individuals in the population requiring preventive chemotherapy for the specific disease that have been treated.
