Prof. Mamadou Souncalo Traoré

Professor Mamadou Souncalo Traoré is Director of the National Institute for Research in Public Health and Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health at Bamako University, Mali.

Earlier, he worked extensively for many years on schistosomiasis research and control.

He has worked as National Director of Health, General Secretary at the Ministry of Health in Mali and British Detached National Expert at the European Commission Research Directorate General in Brussels.

During the last 15 years, he acted as member of several Expert advisory and consultative committees of WHO and other organisations.
