Call for Entries: Quitter Diaries

The Quitter Diaries will follow six real tobacco users from across the globe via vlog style videos along the journey of their Quit Challenge.

The selected candidates will be expected to:

  1. Take part in the #CommitToQuit challenge using the What'sApp/Facebook quitting tool or Florence, WHO’s digital health worker.
  2. Record a video diary every day using a smartphone, documenting your “quitting” experience, this will include the honest struggles you are facing and the hints and tips that are helping you get through the toughest times.
  3. Answer specific questions as part of your personal video diary sessions.
  4. Capture footage of your daily life, at home, with family, and at work.
  5. The participant acknowledges that these videos will be shared nationally and globally.
Here's how to audition:

To find the right people, we are asking the possible candidates to answer these three simple questions in a filmed cell phone video:

  1. Tell us about yourself and your home-life. What do you do for a living and what do you do for fun?
  2. How long have you been a tobacco user and why do you do it?
  3. Why do you want to quit?
