The A-Z country list allows users to select a country, view and print available child malnutrition data and reference tables (in pdf).
The data table provides the detailed analysis results based on the WHO child growth standards with the prevalences below and above defined cut-off points for weight-for-age, height-for-age, weight-for-height and body mass index (BMI)-for-age; and estimates stratified by age and sex, rural/urban residence and regions.
Once a year the national data for the overall age group, sexes combined are exported and form the basis for the global and regional joint child malnutrition estimates produced together with UNICEF and the World Bank group (see link on the top right).
The child growth data can be downloaded from NLiS (see link below) and the Global Health Observatory (GHO).
For historical reasons and comparison purpose the country data previously analysed using the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS)/World Health Organization (WHO) international reference (prior to 2006) are included in the country pages of the A-Z list.
