The database

The link below opens an A-Z list from where users can choose a country to view available child malnutrition data and reference tables (in pdf).

The database is continually being updated as new information becomes available. New tables are posted on this web site every other month (see date behind Last update).

As of 16 August 2014 new data and/or references are available for:

Central African Republic, Chad, Chile, China, Comoros, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Equatorial Guinea, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Indonesia, Iraq, Mauritania, Montenegro, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Korea, Saint Lucia, Senegal, Thailand, The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Tunisia, Turkey, United States of America, West Bank and Gaza and Zimbabwe.

Each country page provides access to analysis results based on the WHO child growth standards. For historical reasons and easy comparison purpose the data analysed using the National Center for Health Statistics(NCHS)/World Health Organization (WHO) international reference (prior to 2006) are also included.
