Terms of Reference:
- To provide evidence based information on diet, nutrition and oral health in order that WHO may assist countries development and adjustment of public health programmes.
- To assist WHO in building research capacity in the area of diet, nutrition and oral health, particularly in low and middle income countries.
- To assist WHO in implementation and evaluation of community programmes on appropriate expose to fluoride (through diet) for prevention of dental caries.
- To assist WHO in providing update sound information on the relationship between nutrition, oral heath and systematic health, including chronic disease.
- To assist WHO in evaluation of community-based dietary modification programmes for oral disease prevention, in line with the common risk factor approach to disease prevention.
