The first English version of the WHO electronic Library of Evidence for Nutrition Actions (eLENA) was launched on August 10th. New nutrition actions continue to be added on a bi-monthly basis. The latest edition includes: optimal timing of cord clamping, bed nets to prevent malaria, nutritional care for adults with tuberculosis and micronutrient supplementation in children with severe acute malnutrition.

A complementary web platform, the Global database on the Implementation of Nutrition Action (GINA) is under development and will become available in 2012. GINA will allow anyone to contribute and retrieve information on the implementation of nutrition policy and actions. GINA has started its first phase with the collection of action data and the building of a user community.
