The Investment Case for Scaling up Equitable Progress towards MDGs 4 & 5 is a multicountry initiative, coordinated by the University of Queensland and supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and AusAID. The project aims to provide evidence for planning and budgeting for the scaling-up of priority MNCH interventions. This session presented preliminary findings from subnational analyses in India, Indonesia, Nepal, Papua New Guinea and the Philippines and discuss policy implications for budgeting and planning.
