Plenary IV, chaired by Julio Frenk, Chair, The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health, and Dean, Harvard School of Public Health, focused on next steps to implement the commitments and targets set in the Global Strategy and to develop a framework to facilitate mutual accountability of all actors involved. There were reports back from the parallel sessions on Tracking Commitments and Outcomes presented by Andres de Francisco, PMNCH; the Parliamentary Roundtable presented by Jhansi Lakshmi Botcha, MP, India; and from the Media Roundtable presented by Dilip Cherian, Co-Founder and Consulting Partner, Perfect Relations. Panelists then highlighted required actions for accountability from different partner organizations' perspectives and options for developing an inclusive accountability processes.
