Benedict is AusAIDs Principal Health Specialist, and is responsible for quality oversight of the Australian government aid agencies health portfolio. He previously worked for the UK government Department for International Development (DFID) as a health adviser in a number of roles including South Asia; Africa, and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. He has also worked as a technical specialist and programme lead on a range of health sector reform programs, and in the UK National Health Service. Ben has a background in health policy, planning and financing.
