Theresa Shaver serves as President of the White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood (WRA) Global Secretariat.
As a nurse-midwife with over 30 years of experience in maternal and reproductive health, Ms Shaver works alongside the Executive Director, Chair and Board of Directors to position the organization for long-term growth and sustainability. In addition, Ms Shaver advises the organization on fundraising and strategic planning, while providing support to the Executive Director in managing day-to-day operations. Having worked throughout Africa, Asia and the South Pacific, Ms Shaver has extensive international experience in community mobilization, capacity building, and advocacy.
