Deliver Now India: Advocacy Messaging Workshop
Stakeholders come together to find common message in India
22 July 2008, Delhi, India - Some 60 members of The Partnership/White Ribbon Alliance India collaboration, Deliver Now India, attended a day-long workshop to build consensus and agree on a common advocacy agenda for maternal, newborn and child health in India. The workshop brought together stakeholders including members of non-governmental and multi-lateral agencies, donors, academics and health care professionals to brainstorm and draw consensus on issues and advocacy messages around MDGs 4 and 5.
The issues identified by the stakeholders are to be shared in the report with all partners and members to enable incorporation into their campaigns and interventions and the specific messages identified will be incorporated into the Deliver Now campaign
