Strengthening the Global Financing Architecture for Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (RMNCH)
The Report and Consultations
Responding to the need to facilitate the mobilization and channelling of financing and the rapid scale-up of interventions for women's and children's health, PMNCH commissioned a review of options to strengthen global financing channels for RMNCH.
A report was produced by SEEK Development and the Global Health Group, with guidance from PMNCH lead partners (DFID, Family Care International and Norad) and support from the PMNCH secretariat: Strengthening the Global Financing Architecture for Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (RMNCH).
26 October 20122, the report was presented at the PMNCH board meeting in Paris. A PMNCH task team on RMNCH financing has since continued discussions on the options presented, and the way forward.
