BRIEFINGS: Newborn Health: From Advocacy to Scale
7 JANUARY - 8 JULY 2009 WASHINGTON DC
Publisher/Organizer: USAID/BASICS
Publication date: 2009
Language: English
Overview
In 2009, BASICS will culminate the implementation of a 15-year focused investment by USAID in accelerating child survival. The project has evolved from promoting technical interventions globally to providing technical assistance for implementation of key child health interventions at the country level. In its current 5-year project cycle alone, BASICS has worked in 19 countries to promote improved child health.
BASICS is holding a series of monthly briefings in 2009, usually planned for the second Wednesday of each month, to highlight gains achieved in the project’s technical focus areas and lessons learned across countries. The venue will rotate between the offices of BASICS’ partners. All are welcome to attend without confirming their participation beforehand.
