With reference to Resolution / Recommendation 3 (romans i — iii) on CARMMA and July 2010 AU Summit; and also Resolution / Recommendation 5 and 15 of the Africa Parliamentary Health Policy and Budget Action Plan - Strengthening overall collaboration with PMNCH and partners across Africa to stem and reverse the annual loss of an estimated 5 African million children, and 265,000 African women.
The parliamentary consultations called on the PMNCH amongst others to ensure both technical and other support for the parliamentary working committees on Health, Gender/Women, Finance and Health MDG related committees.
