The UN System Private Sector Focal Points Meeting will be co-hosted by the United Nations Global Compact Office (UNGCO), the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on 13-14 April, 2010 in Geneva.
It is expected that this meeting will continue to advance the UN-business partnership agenda with a discussion of a number of important issues including: implementation of the revised UN-business guidelines including a focus on enhancing System-wide coherence related to partner screening; training/roll-out of the new UN-business website; advancing the recommendations in the GA Resolution "Towards Global Partnerships"; and provide an opportunity for UN focal points to prepare their EDs for participation in the Global Compact Leader's Summit on 24-25 June in New York.
