USAID global health month


During the month of May, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is highlighting its work in global health with six thematic weeks to educate and inspire action, starting with a week focused on malaria and immunizations at the end of April and ending in early June with a focus on nutrition in the lead up to the 39th G8 summit:

22-30 April: Malaria, immunizations
1-10 May: Innovations, science and technology, health systems
11-17 May: Mothers, partnerships
18-27 May: HIV/AIDS
28-31 May: Family planning
Early June: Nutrition
