About Women Deliver

PMNCH member Women Deliver works globally to generate political commitment and resource investments to reduce maternal mortality and achieve universal access to reproductive health. Building on commitments, partnerships, and networks mobilized during tri-annual conferences, Women Deliver is fighting to stop roughly 287 000 girls and women from dying of pregnancy and childbirth related causes every year. Women Deliver’s message is that maternal health is both a human right and a practical necessity for sustainable development.
