AUSTRALIA: Australian Parliamentary Secretary calls for urgent investment in child and maternal health

3 MAY | BALI - The global economic crisis is putting the health of women and children in the Asia-Pacific region at greater risk, Australia’s Parliamentary Secretary for International Development Assistance, Bob McMullan, said today.

Mr McMullan co-launched a report, Investing in Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, the Case for Asia and the Pacific, at the Asian Development Bank Annual Meeting, Bali, which exposed gaps in health investment for women and children.
