Asian Development Bank : US $150 million ADB loan for MDGs 4 & 5 in Pakistan’s Punjab province
24 JUNE 2010 | MANILA, PHILIPPINES - The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is providing a $150 million equivalent loan for an ongoing program aimed at cutting infant and maternal deaths and improving the delivery of health services for the poor in Pakistan’s Punjab Province.
The Board of Directors today approved the loan from ADB’s concessional Asian Development Fund for the second phase of the Punjab Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Program. The three-phase program is carrying out reforms to improve access, quality and equity of public health services in the province.
