Save the Children invites organizations to join an urgent call for more health workers
13 JUNE 2011 –Save the Children has launched a micro website on behalf of an alliance calling for more health workers. On 26 May 2011 50 organizations issued a statement, published in The Guardian, to initiate bringing together hundreds of organizations behind a call for more health workers, better supported. This alliance behind the original call to action is now inviting other organizations to add their names to the statement on the microwebsite. Representatives of an organization at Director level or equivalent are able to sign up on an organization's behalf. To date more than 80 organizations have joined the call for more health workers, better supported.
