PMNCH is co-hosting a side event with the American Cancer Society, the GAVI Alliance, PATH, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the World Heart Federation on Monday, September 19th. PMNCH Director Carole Presern will join a distinguished panel of international leaders to highlight the need to achieve better health outcomes for women by expanding synergies with global efforts to prevent and control non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
Integrating NCDs: The Next Frontier in Women's Health is a special side event of the UN High-level Meeting on Non-communicable Diseases and the Secretary General’s Global Strategy for Women’s and Children’s Health. An awards ceremony will follow the panel discussion and launch of the task force.
