RFP for Citizen Report Card in health and education sectors for sub-Saharan Africa

SEPTEMBER 2011- The Transparency and Accountability Program (TAP) of the Results for Development Institute has announced its latest round of request for proposals (RFPs). In the newest phase of the Grants Program, TAP will sponsor up to ten (10) organizations to design and implement a citizen report card (CRC) project and related advocacy that focuses on improving how money is being spent and how services are being delivered in the health and education sectors at the national, sub-national, and/or local level in their countries. Application to the Grants Program is open to any non-government organization from target countries in sub-Saharan African (Burkina Faso, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, and Uganda).

Civil society organizations that work in these target countries are invited to apply. As part of this Grant Window and upcoming Windows, TAP is seeking to support one or more organizations interested in budgeting and service delivery for (1) reproductive health and family planning and (2) primary education.

Deadline: Proposals for this Grant Window will be accepted until 14 October 2011.
