Health and the G20 leaders Summit
2 APRIL 2009 | LONDON -
On 2 April 2009, the G20 world leaders gathered in London to address the global financial crisis. In the final Communiqué, the G20 leaders reiterated their commitment to working to achieve the internationally-agreed development goals- the Millennium Development Goals: "We reaffirm our historic commitment to meeting the Millennium Development Goals and to achieving our respective ODA pledges, including commitments on Aid for Trade, debt relief, and the Gleneagles commitments, especially to sub-Saharan Africa".
