Millions reached on #BornTooSoon Global Relay TweetChat

3 MAY 2012- TWITTERSPHERE - The #BornTooSoon Global TweetChat Relay took place as a rolling, seven-hour Conversation on Twitter #borntooson. Led by The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (PMNCH), Save the Children, the United Nations Foundation (UNF), March of Dimes, the Global Alliance to Prevent Prematurity and Stillbirth (GAPPS) and the Healthy Newborn Network (HNN), the TweetChat involved hundreds of organizations and thousands of Twitter followers.

According to the Twitter tracker, Tweetreach, the Relay reached a total of 6, 461,878 people through 6,756 Tweets coming from some 2,792 individual contributors -- an astonishing record! PMNCH started off the first hour of the #Borntoosoon Tweet Relay, with @joylawn answering questions---Dr Joy Lawn is an MNCH expert and one of the authors of the Born Too Soon Report.
