Asia-Pacific Leadership and Policy Dialogue for Women’s and Children’s Health

7-9 NOVEMBER 2012 | MANILA, PHLIPPINES

Country case studies

The purpose of the case studies was to highlight areas where countries in the Region have made progress in the area of Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Adolescent, and Child Health (RMNCAH), and areas where there are continued challenges. The intention was to document lessons learned from implementation in a variety of settings, and to use these lessons to inform discussions more widely in the Region. It is recognized that countries have context-specific needs, and that approaches to implementing RMNCAH programs will differ widely. Nevertheless, it is hoped that there can be agreement on some common areas where there is a need to coordinate investment in order to accelerate progress.
