24 JANUARY - The Roll Back Malaria Partnership (RBM) and the Center for Global Health & Diplomacy (GHD) co-hosted a reception and dinner in the margins of the World Economic Forum in Davos to highlight the importance of accountability and transparency to advance global health progress. HE Mr. Jakaya Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium and RBM Special Representative, together with Prof. Jeffrey Sachs, UN Secretary-General’s Special Advisor on MDGs and Dr Carole Presern, Executive Director, PMNCH made keynote remarks.

Guests included the HE Professor Awa Coll-Seck, Minister of Health of the Republic of Senegal, Honorable Francis Maude, MP and Minister for the Cabinet Office, UK, Secretary-General Dr. Hamadoun Touré of the UN International Telecommunication Union, alongside distinguished participants from governments, businesses, NGOs, the UN and international global health community.
