ART Constituency moves to meet commitment and identify research priorities to save mother’s and children’s lives

11 APRIL 2011 - The Academic, Research and Training Constituency (ART) of PMNCH has moved towards fulfilling its commitment to the Global Strategy on Women’s and Children’s Health. The Principal of the University of Aberdeen – Professor Ian Diamond – has sent a letter and report to the UN Secretary General as a follow-up on the ART commitment to help identify research priorities to help save women’s and children’s lives and support the Global Strategy. The Briefing came out of a January 2011 workshop which brought together academics and international policy-makers to identify priority MNCH research areas.
