Africa Regional RMNCH Advocacy Strategy Implementation Meeting
26 MARCH 2012 | KAMPALA, UGANDA - Over 140 partners gathered in Kampala to identify next steps in the implementation of the Integrated Strategy for Reproductive Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (RMNCH), led by the African Union. This strategy, devised during a consultation in August 2011, promotes alignment of the implementation of several African and global frameworks for women’s and children’s health, including the Campaign for the Accelerated Reduction of Maternal, Mortality in Africa, The Maputo Plan of Action and the Global Strategy for Women’s and Children’s Health. -

Health partnerships reach out to G8 leaders
MARCH 2012 - The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health has joined with three other leading global health partnerships to send an open letter to G8 leaders to ask for the inclusion of a specific statement of commitment and support for global health in this year's G8 Summit Declaration and accountability report.
