Mission statement
The African Woman Foundation (AWF) investigates new ways for health care for pregnant women and their babies in developing countries, through projects that include both protocol-based care and the empowerment of women. The AWF is a non-profit organisation based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It is supported and funded by volunteers from the academic world, the government, NGOs and trade & industry.
