Mission statement
ILCA is the professional association for International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs). Our mission is to advance the IBCLC profession worldwide through advacacy, leadership, professional development and research. Our goals are: 1) Promote the IBCLC credential and profession. 2) Promote professional development through member services. 3) Collaborate with decision makers to develop global, national and local policy. 4) Actively foster research that supports evidence-based practice. 5) Promote organisational excellence and financial stability.
