Mission statement
Dalit is a Bengali word that stands for "oppressed". DALIT as an organization aims to materialize the dreams to serve the most deprived Dalit indigenous community people. DALIT works with the most dominated people, to build up their capacity through education, health and income-generating support, DALIT works in holistic approaches of development.
