Mission statement
The Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia (FGAE) is the oldest and the largest non-government, not-for-profit organization with over 43 years of dedication in providing quality, broad ranging reproductive health services in Ethiopia complementing governmental efforts. A full member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) since 1971, it is well recognized by the Ethiopian government and other implementing partners as the pioneer for the expansion of various family planning technologies; adolescent reproductive health and community-based reproductive health services in the country. In country, FGAE is a full member of CRDA, CORHA and CIPHE. Institutionally, the Association is a network of 18 comprehensive RH clinics and 28 multi-service youth RH facilities located across the country.
