Mission statement
The Human Resources for Health (HRH) Knowledge Hub is engaged in work in four thematic areas, with a particularly strong focus on applied research in the MNCH area, with a number of projects either completed or underway in Papua New Guinea, Laos, and Fiji, for example. The HRH Hub produced 65 publications in 2011, including policy briefs, reports, conference papers, book chapters, journal articles, and country profiles and dissemination feedback suggests that these publications have had a high uptake rate, comparable to government agencies and surpassing that of the non-profit and education sectors. The HRH Hub has also spearheaded engagement with local, regional and international stakeholders in the area of MNCH and HRH more broadly, through forums, meetings and dialogues, in order to raise the profile of MNCH issues.
