The Countdown to 2015 for MNCH
Spring 2008 - A planning visit to Cape Town, South Africa, has taken place to coordinate the logistics and details of The Countdown to 2015 for MNCH, being planned in that city in the spring of 2008. The Countdown to 2015 for MNCH is a process started in 2005 in a collaborative effort of concerned partners and individuals to track progress towards the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5 in reducing child and maternal mortality.
Art 4 Health
New paintings are in production to enlarge the collection of the Art for Health collection, a project from the WHO reproductive health department. Around 30 to 40 paintings will be sold by auction by Christie's auction house in Rome, 9 April 2008.
